Inloco Talks 2024
INLOCO TALKS is a one-day symposium dedicated to the field of urban art and its broader cultural impact. The 2024 edition centered around the theme of urban semiotics — exploring how cities and built environments communicate meaning through signs, symbols, and spatial narratives.

Held in Dubai at the Al Safa Art and Design Library, INLOCO TALKS brought together artists, urbanists, researchers, and members of the public for a dynamic day of conversations, talks, and panels. The event highlighted the role of public art in shaping urban experience and advancing cultural, social, and environmental discourse. A parallel program unfolded online, in the Inloco Metaverse, focusing on the semiotics of virtual worlds that depict the landscapes and cultural codes of Arab countries, offering a digital lens into regional identities and visual language.

The symposium was organized by Inloco Initiative, a platform that has supported, explored, and developed urban art since 2017. This includes Inloco Gallery and Nuvo Buro Group, which work at the intersection of public art, urban art, and cultural research.
